Most commercial concerns in Bangkok operate five days a week. Government offices are generally open between 8.30 a.m. and 4.30p.m. with a 12.00 p.m. to 1 p.m. lunchbreak, Monday through Friday,except on public holidays. Private business maintain similar hours – 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. , with certain exception. Most shops are open 12 hours a day, seven days a week
